LAKE BUENA VISTA, FL- It was a beautiful weekend for Beach Volleyball in Hermosa Beach, CA. Over 170 teams flocked to The Pier for the 19th Annual AAU Beach Volleyball Junior National Championships. Although Saturday was a bit overcast, Sunday was as bright and beautiful as ever.

Eight states that were represented this year, including: Alaska, Arizona,California, Hawaii Louisiana,Nevada,Texas, and Utah. The 18U girls showed up and showed out! They were listed as one of the largest age divisions.Paige Hines (Encinitas, CA) and Morea Wagner (Encinitas, CA) defeated Myranda Cunningham (Irivine, CA) and Ella Roberts (Tustin, CA) to take first place in the 18u girls division.

In the boys 18u division,Kupono Fey (Honolulu, HI) and Colin Scotty Peros (Honolulu, HI) took home the gold.

Congratulations to London Chow. She was awarded the 2011 Female Player of the Year. The honor is awarded for the player's previous years' accomplishments.
